Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media, prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.

Note:
Casuarina species are grown to stabilise sandy soils throughout the world`s deserts.


Botanic information
Leaf: The reduced scale-like dark green leaves appear as a whorl of 8 to 10-tiny triangular teeth along the branchlets.

Flower: The brownish male flowers appear in cylindrical spike and the red female flowers appear in a globular spike towards the end of the branches from autumn to spring.

Fruit: The small cone is rounded and produces numerous small seeds.
