Propagation
Divide established clumps (rhizome) during spring with 3 to 4 canes planted in a sandy medium and placed in a humid position to establish then plant out or plant in situ in warm climates.

Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green leaves are narrow linear and have a soft texture.

Flower: The spikelets are not normally seen.

Fruit: The small seed is not normally seen and the plant is reproduced vegetatively.
