Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 24º C.
Take soft tip or semi-hardwood cuttings from late summer to early winter and apply bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green leaves are narrow-linear, almost terete with an obtuse to acute apex and may have a silver-green colour.
Flower: The trumpet-shaped flowers have a 2-obed calix that is a white mauve with yellow spots in the throat and are arranged in an axillary raceme that appears from spring to summer.
Fruit: The small fruit is enclosed in the calyx and is composed of 4 or less nutlets that contain one seed. Seeds dispersed by water and are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
