Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F).

Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during spring and semi hardwood cuttings during summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are elliptical to oblong with a thick and leathery texture. The upper surface is deep bluish glossy green with prominent yellowish-white veins and the undersides dull green. The brown petiole is up to 150mm (6in) long and the apex is acute.

Flower: The tiny flowers appear in the leaf axils are enclosed in the developing fruit that are solitary or arranged in pairs during summer.

Fruit: The pome forms in axillary clusters and are covered in a white pubescence. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
