Botanic information
Leaf: The soft textured grey-green linear leaves are lightly pubescent and glandular. The apex is cuspidate and the petiole is short.

Flower: The slightly pubescent red tubulate flowers have constricted throats and swollen bases. They are arranged in terminal umbel and appear during spring and sporadically throughout the year.

Fruit: This is a four-celled capsule contains many small seeds thatare viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.

General pruning information
Tolerates a light prune to maintain shape and encourage new growth. Do not prune into old wood, as it will not regenerate.
