Propagation
Sow fresh seeds in situ during spring or sown in a protected environment during autumn.

Divide root stolons or offsets during spring.

Note:
It is moderately deer resistant.


Botanic information
Leaf: The mid to dark green pubescent leaves are broad ovate with an acute apex and a cordate base that has a slender petiole.

Flower: The large radiate flowers-heads have yellow ray florets and purplish brown disk florets. They may be tinged purple to red and appear singularly or are arranged in corymb during summer.

Fruit: The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively in order to maintain true to type.
