Take cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green ovate leaves have undulating margins that are entire to serrate. The upper surface is scabrous and the underside is pubescent.

Flower: The unisexual flowers are small and enclosed in the developing ovoid fruit and are accessed by a minute orifice at the apex and appear during spring.

Fruit: The globose drupe (fig) is black to purple and densely hairy. It is dispersed by birds, bats and gravity. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
