Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media.

Take cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green narrow linear leaves are conspicuously twisted and have a smooth texture with a groove on the underside. The apex is pungent and the leaves appears terete.

Flower: The papillionate flowers are yellow with red-orange centres and have a broad standard. They appear in the upper leaf axils in pairs or in a cluster that share a common peduncle and are rarely solitary. The flowers appear from late winter to early summer.

Fruit: The small rounded pod is stiff and the seeds are spread by birds or dispersed by gravity. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
