Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Take cuttings during late summer and placed on a misting bench.

Note:
This plant can be difficult to grow in the eastern states of Australia as it dislikes a hot humid summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The small dark green oblong leaves are aromatic and slightly pubescent. They are almost sessile and have a obtuse apex.

Flower: The tiny red to pink tubular flowers have 5-petals and sepals that are inward facing. The flowers are accompanied with bell-like bracts and are arranged in a terminal umbel that appears during spring.

Fruit: The small nut produces tiny seeds that are not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
