Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 12º to 18º C.
Take cuttings during summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The light to dark green slender acicular leaves are glandular and aromatic when crushed. The pointed apex is slightly hooked and the leaves are arranged oppositly along the slender stems.
Flower: The waxy rotate flowers have 5-petals and are available in white, lilac, pink and red with a deep crimson centre. They appear in an open cluster from spring to summer.
Fruit: The fruit is a small woody nut. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
