Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C.
Take cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are ovate to lanceolate or oblong with toothed or scalloped margins. The upper mid-green surface is wrinkled and the underside is white and downy.
Flower: The small white 2-lipped labiate flowers have a bell-shaped purplish calyx and the flowers are arranged in a terminal raceme that appears above the foliage during spring.
Fruit: This plant produces viable seed via a nutlet that develops inside the calyx. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
