Propagation
Divide established clumps (rhizome) during spring.
Sow fresh seed during spring.
Note:
Seed heads should be bagged and the plants physically removed.
Botanic information
Leaf: The ridged 4mm (? in)wide shinny bright green linear leaves have rough recurved margins and the upper surface is folded into a V-shape.
Flower: The compact flat spikelets appear in a sub-globose cluster that is arranged in a compound umbel. The glumes are yellow-green and 2mm long and appear from spring to summer.
Fruit: The flattened nut has three angles and is dispersed by water and gravity.
