Propagation
Sow seed when ripe or during spring in pots and place in a protected environment.

Note:
This tree is not normally grown for ornamental use. It is found in mangroves along coastal waterways and plays a major part in a healthy environment.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery dark green obovate leaves have an obtuse apex and a short petiole and the underside is pale-green.

Flower: The creamy-white tubulate flowers have a calyx with 5-stiff lobes and the corolla tube has 5-lobes that are spreading and reflexed. They are arranged in a compact umbel that appears during spring.

Fruit: The cylindrical horn shaped capsule is viviparous.
