Propagation
Sow fresh seed during autumn in prepared beds or in containers.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leathery textured leaves are oblong to lanceolate and have a puckered upper surface with recurved margins that are covered in sticky glandular hairs. The apex is obtuse to acute and the petiole is short.

Flower: The small blue salverform flowers are arranged in a terminal or axillaryraceme that is up to 40mm (1½in) long and appears during spring.

Fruit: The small rounded capsule has 3-lobes and is dispersed by gravity.
