If plant parts are ingested it may cause stomach upset but has herbal uses.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green ovate to lanceolate leaves are covered in short hairs and are arranged alternately and crowded at the base.
Flower: The small white to purple tubulate flowers are arranged in a terminal cyme that appears during spring.
Fruit: The small schizocarpic fruitproduces very viable seed. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
