Propagation
Sow fresh seeds in situ in a prepared bed during spring.
Divide established clumps during summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The blue-green leaves are ovate to broad ovate or lanceolate and are arranged in a whorl or alternately up the stem.
Flower: The 5-petaled campanulate flowers have balloon-like buds and are arranged in a cluster and appear during summer.
Fruit: The small capsule contains numerous tiny seeds that a viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
