Surface sow fresh seeds during spring and maintain a temperature of 16ş C.

Take cuttings during summer and apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green oblanceolate to obovate leaves are 3mm (?in) wide and have 3-distinct veins on the upper surface. The margin is entire and the apex is acute.

Flower: The cyathiform flowers have 6mm (Ľin)long prominent pink stamens with 5-shorter pink petals and 5-sepals. They are arranged in a terminal cluster that appears from spring to summer.

Fruit: The small capsule is not woody and the seeds are dispersed by water and wind. The small fruit is rimmed with persistent calyx lobes and when the small wingless seeds are released the capsule is not persistent on the plant
