This plant is not normally cultivated for ornamental purposes.
Sow seed during spring.

All parts of the plant may cause stomach upset if ingested, please use gloves when handling.


Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green cordate leaves vary in size and shape but normally have a sagittatebase and a long petiole that forms a sheath around the stem. They are up to 50mm (2in) wide and have an entire to undulate margin.

Flower: The small creamy-white stellate flowers are arranged in a terminal panicle that appears during late spring and is not commonly seen.

Fruit: The green nut matures to brown and has 3-wings that are brown and papery. The seeds are very viable and are dispersed by wind and water.
