Propagation
Sow seeds when ripe in trays and prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle. Plant out at 300mm (1ft) centres.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile grey-green pubescenceleaves are linear to narrow-lanceolate, up to 6mm (¥in) wide and have a prominent mid rib.

Flower: The radiate flower-head is ovoid with papery ray florets up to 7mm (¥in) long and the tubular disk florets have 5-lobes.They appear above the foliage on a slender scape froim spring to summer.

Fruit: The pappus has up to 13-bristles that become barb-like towards the top. Seeds may be difficult to obtain.
