Sow seeds when ripe in a well-drained media and in cold climates place in a cold frame to germinate.

This plant is resistantto Phytophthora cinnamomi.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are broad lanceolate to rhomboidal and are up to 60 mm (2? in)wide with coarsely toothed margins in the upper half. They are arranged alternately in groups or 3 to 5 towards the end of the branches or at nodes along the branchlets.

Flower: The tiny 5-petalled white stellate flowers are arranged in a dense terminal corymbose panicle that appears during spring.

Fruit: The capsule splits into half revealing a reddish interior and containing 2 to 3 black seeds. The fruit persists on the plant for several months and is a feature.
