Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and place in a protected environment until germination occurs.

Divide established clumps during spring.
Take soft tip cuttings taken during summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The mid green leaves are oblong to lanceolate and may be pinnatifid. They are arranged basally or alternatly on arching green stems. The leaves may turn a reddish in hot or cold weather.

Flower: The white crateriform flowers turn pink and open at dawn or dusk and have a long flowering period from early to late summer.

Fruit: The small capsule produces the numerous fine seed. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively, to maintain true to type.
