Propagation
Sow scarified seed during summer in a well-drained media.
Take cuttings during summer and apply bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery leaves are broad lanceolate with an acuminate apex and the undersides are covered in silvery pubescence.
Flower: The inverted red papillionate flowers have a short pedicle and are solitary or arranged in a cluster. They appear from autumn to spring.
Fruit: The small stalked pods are pubescent and contain hard dark seeds. The small seed is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
