Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F)
Take cuttings during summer and apply bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green elliptical leaves have undulating margins and an acuminate apex. The upper surface has prominent veins.
Flower: The pink broad tubular to funnelform flowers have 5-petals that are reflexed and are marked with darker purplish veins. The pedicle is long and the flowers are arranged in an arching raceme that appears from late spring to summer.
Fruit: The fruit is loculicidal capsule and has two valves.It contains several seeds that are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
