Propagation
Sow seed during spring in a well-drained media and maintain 18º C.
Take soft tip cuttings during early summer and semi-hardwood cuttings in late summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The mid-green leaves are lanceolate to spathulate and have an entire to finely serrated margins.
Flower: The ray florets are white with a mauve base and the disk florets are purplish-violet. The flower-heads appear above the foliage on a slender scape from late spring to summer.
Fruit: The small three sided cypsela has a hard outer surface. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively in order to maintain true to type.
