Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period in pots. Bottom heat may encourage fast root development.

Divide mature clumps during spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The silvery-green leaves are linear to lanceolate and are covered in fine white hairs that give them a silvery appearance. The apex is obtuse and the petiole is short and the leaves are arranged oppositely along the stems.

Flower: The white flowers have a yellow centre and are rotate to funnelform with 5-petals that are bilobed. They are arranged in a cyme that is up to 150mm (6in) tall and appears from late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The small capsule is normally removed during cultivationand the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
