Propagation
Sow seed when ripe in pots and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F) and apply bottom heat.

General pruning information
This plant tolerate a light prune to a node normally after flowering. Do not prune into old wood as it will not regenerate and if the plant has become leggy and woody it will not regenerate after a hard prune, it requires replacement.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leathery leaves are broad to narrow elliptical or sickle-shaped with prominent veins. The young leaves are covered in a fine golden coloured pubescence.

Flower: The small tubulate flowers are pale pink maturing to red and have white protruding styles. They are arranged in a ball-shaped (globular) axillary spike that appears from late summer to autumn.

Fruit: The folicle is hard and woody and contains winged seeds.
