Divide established clumps during spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The lanceolate leaves have almost equal proportions of green and white along the upper surface.
Ligule: membranous
Collar: narrow and continuous
Auricles: absent

Flower: The inflorescence may grow to a height of 250mm (9µin)and is a narrow panicle and is loose at the base with sterile lower florets. The flowers appear during summer and persist on the plant.

Fruit: The small seeds are not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
