Botanic information
Leaf:The long linear mid-green leaves are upright and arching (fountain-like) and are 'U' shape in cross section. They are a feature of the plant.

Flower: The inflorescence is a spike-like panicle up to 200mm (8in) long and has a coppery colour. It appears during summer high above the foliage and is long lasting.
Fruit: The small seeds are very viable and the plant self sows readily. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively in order to maintain true to type.
