Propagation
Sow fresh seed at the rate of 50g per square metre during early summer and keep moist.


Botanic information
Leaf: The long linear leaves may be twisted or arching and have a thin texture.
Ligule: membranous and very short
Collar: narrow and continuous
Auricles: absent

Flower: The inflorescence is a narrow panicle with sharply reflexed pairs of racemes. The lower spikelets are sessile and infertile and are green maturing to reddish-brown. The flowers appear throughout summer.

Fruit: The seeds should be stored for 6 months prior to planting.
