Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 20º to 25º C.

Divide established clumps during spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The mid green ovate leaves are covered in fine hairs and have obvious veins on the upper surface. The petiole is short and the apex is acute.

Flower: The tiny 2-lipped blue tubulate flowers are arranged in a terminal spike that is held above the foliage and appear from late spring to summer.

Fruit: The fruit is composed of 4 nutlets. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
