Propagation
Stratify seeds for 2 to 3 months during winter in peat and sow the seeds in pots then place them in a cold frame to germinate.

Note:
Care should be taken as it has brittle branches and strong roots.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaflets are ovate up to 70mm (2µin)long and are silvery on the underside. The apex is acuminate and the petiole is short. The new growth is downy and the sessile buds are brown with 2 to 3 pairs of scales.

Flower: The tiny white cyathiform flowers have 4-petals and are arranged in a large pendulous terminal panicle that appears during early spring.

Fruit: The small samara is winged at one end and aranged in pendant branched bundles.
