Propagation
Surface sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media, and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F). Prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.

General pruning information
Eucalyptusspecies require little pruning apart from removal of damaged or dead wood, which should be taken off at the collar. If the tree is cut back hard it will produce epicormic shoots and the crown may be lifted or thinned by removal of selected branches.


Botanic information
Leaf: The oppositely arranged grey-green ovate juvenal leaves are sessile and the dark green adult leaves are lanceolate to narrow lanceolate and are concolorous.

Flower: The creamy white flowers are arranged in a cluster of three and often have no pedicel. The opercula is flattish with a distinct central knob and the flowers appear from spring to early summer.

Fruit: The globular capsule is sessile and the ascending disk forms lobes that partly cover the valves. The 3 to 4 valves are below the lobes and the calycine ring forms a prominent channel in the rim.
