Propagation
Divide the rhizome during spring and place in a moist organic rich soil.


Botanic information
Leaf: The soft-leathery textured blue-green cordate leaves have a whitish veins and mid rib. The margins are deeply crenate and the base is cordate. The petiole is long and slender arising from the base and the apex is acuminate.

Flower: The spadix is enclosed in a leaf-like spathe that appears during summer and is regarded insignificant and not a feature of the plant.

Fruit: The small berry is not normally seen in cultivationand the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
