Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media and keep moist.
Aerial layering is carried out during the growing period.
Take cuttings during summer and place in a protected environment.
Botanic information
Leaf: The bipinnate leaves have glossy dark green ovate leaflets with serrated margins and an acuminate apex. The leaves remain small in potted specimens but can grow up to 1 m (3 ft) long on mature trees.
Flower: The white or yellow tubulate to funnelform flowers are arranged in terminal or axillary panicle that appears during summer.
Fruit: The capsular fruit is slender and contains numerous seeds. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
