Take stem cuttings during the spring and place in a peat based media.
Botanic information
Leaf: This plant has flattened mid-green segmented sections that act as leaves with a prominent mid rib and the spines arranged on their margins.
Flower: The white to greenish stellate flowers have elliptical tepals and slightly exserted stamens and appear singularly at the branch joints and terminally. Each flower only last for one day and appear during late spring.
Fruit: The blue-white berry is very small and not commonly seenand the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
