Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well drained moist media.
Take cuttings during the growing period and place in a warm humid environment.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are narrow lanceolate to oblong, up to 15mm (?in) wide and have a very short petiole. They are glossy green on the upper surface and paler on the underside with a prominent mid-rib.
Flower: The nodding campanulate (bell-shaped) blue flowers have 5-petals and are arranged in pendant terminal cyme that appears during summer.
Fruit: The blue-blackberry-like cylindrical capsule is fleshy. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
