Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during spring and semi hardwood cuttings during summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy green smooth texture ovate leaves have a short reddish petiole and taper to an acuminate apex. They are up to 40 mm (1? in) wide and the margins have small serrations.
Flower: The small unisexual apetalous flowers have 4 to 5 sepals and are arranged in an axillary raceme that appears in early spring.
Fruit: The small berry is globose and contains up to 8 seeds. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
