Propagation
Take stem and nodal cuttings during spring.
This plant is not normally cultivated for ornamental purposes in Australia.
Note:
Care should be taken as contact with the leaves may cause skin irritation.
Botanic information
Leaf: The ovate leaves are pubescent on the upper surface and margins and have prominent stipules. The undersurface is pinkish and upper surface has brown coloured bands.
Flower: The tiny flowers are arranged in a globular umbel that is held above the foliage on a slender peduncle and appear from spring to autumn.
Fruit: The tiny nuts are not normally seen but the seeds have ample endosperm and are very viable. They are dispersed by water and rubbish dumping. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
