Propagation
Sow seeds during autumn and place in a cold frame to germinate.

This shrub grows in a wide range of climate zones and in some regions has become a weed.
Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green pinnate leaves have 7 to 15 oval leaflets that are 50mm (2in) long. The leaflet stalk is short and the apex is mucronate.
Flower: The pinkish papillionate flowers are arranged in a slightly arching spike that has up to 40 blooms and grows up to 200mm (8in) long. They appear from early to midsummer amongst the foliage.
Fruit: The woody pod is dry and contains many seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
