This plant may be tip prune to thicken up all or when old it can be cut back by two thirds to regenerate.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile trifoliate leaves have 3-lanceolate leaflets that are up to 4 mm (? in)long. The dark green leaves appear whorled but are arranged oppositely and both the leaves and young stems are pubescent.

Flower: The crateriform flowers have between 5 and 10 white to pink petals and appear solitary in the leaf axils. They appear from spring to early summer and continue sporadically until autumn.

Fruit: The small capsule has 2 cells and the small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
