Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring and maintain a temperature of 12º to 18º C.

Take cuttings during summer and placed on a misting bench.
Grafted plants have a longer life.


Botanic information
Leaf: The small rounded dark green leaves are elliptical to obovate and are aromatic when crushed as it has oil glands on the upper surface. The apex is obtuse and the petiole is very short.

Flower:The white to pale lilac labiate flowers have a 2-lobed calyx that has purple spots in the throat. They are arranged in an axillary cluster that appears during summer.

Fruit: The small nut is enclosed in the calyx and is composed of four or less nutlets that contain one seed. The seeds dispersed by water. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
