Botanic information
Leaf: The long linear light green leaves are grass-like, curving at the ends with an acuminate apex.

Flower: The small crateriform flowers are iris-like with 3-petals and 3-sepals that form a loose cup-shaped. They are arranged in a panicle on a short scape that appears during spring but may be hidden amongst the foliage.

Fruit: The small capsule contains seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
