Botanic information
Leaf: The imparipinnate leaves have 9 to 15 oblong to obovate dull blue green leaflets that are 10mm to 15mm (? in) long.
Flower: The papillionate flowers are rosy pink to lilac and may have a white fan-shape mark on the base of the main petal. They are arranged in an erect axillary raceme that appears from spring to early summer then sporadic throughout the year.
Fruit: The legume is cylindrical and ripens from green to brown. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
