Botanic information
Leaf: The small sessile long-linear leaves are glossy dark green with a ridged leathery texture. They have a pungent apex and appear terete.
Flower: The small profuse blue expanded tubulate flowers are arranged in an axillary spike that appears from spring to summer.
Fruit: The small nut produces tiny viable seed.
