Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green leaves varie from elliptical to obovate and the margin may be entire to serrate.
Flower: The tubulate flower has a split tube with 3-lower and 2-upper petals that are spreading and are arranged in an axillary cyme that appears from spring to summer.
Fruit: The fruit is a small nut and the seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
