Propagation
Surface sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media, and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F). Prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.

Care should be taken when selecting a site, allowing ample room for it to grow as it has vigorous invasiveroots that can lift concrete and block drains

Botanic information
Leaf: The ovate juvenile leaves are opposite and up to 240 mm (9½ in)long by 50 mm (2 in) wide. The leathery textured adult leaves are lanceolate to falcate and are up to 30 mm (1? in)wide.They are shiny dark green above and paler on the underside. (Discolorous)
Flower: The creamy white flowers have a conical bud cap and are arranged in an axillary cluster of 7 to 11 at the end of the branches. The flowering period is from mid summer to early autumn.
Fruit: The sessile capsule is a bell-shaped (campanulate to pyriform) with 3 to 4 protruding valves that have thin pointed tips around the inner rim. They contain numerous fine seeds that are dispersed by wind and water.
General pruning information
Eucalyptusspecies require little pruning apart from removal of damaged or dead wood, which should be taken off at the collar. If the tree is cut back hard it will produce epicormic shoots and the crown may be lifted or thinned by removal of selected branches.
