Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 14ş to 18ş C.

Layering is carried out during summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are obovate to broad ovate with a biserrate to serrate margin and a long petiole. It has a glossy upper surface and is covered in tomentose on the underside.

Flower: The 5-petaled red cyathiform flowers are arranged in a dense axillery raceme that appears during spring.

Fruit: The small capsule contains the numerous seeds that are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
