Propagation
Surface sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F). Prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.

General pruning information
Eucalyptusspecies require little pruning apart from removal of damaged or dead wood, which should be taken off at the collar. If the tree is cut back hard it will produce epicormic shoots and the crown may be lifted or thinned by removal of selected branches.


Botanic information
Leaf: The alternate juvenile leaves are narrow-linear and the light bluish green adult leaves are lanceolate to slightly falcate up to 10 mm (? in) wide. They are pink to plum coloured maturing to glaucous green. The texture is leathery and petiole is short.

Flower: The flowers have exserted creamy-white stamens and are arranged in an axillary cluster of 5 to 7 and appear along the branches from late summr to autumn.

Fruit: The fruit is a brown hemispherical capsule with a flat or slightly raised rim. They are arranged in clusters of 5 to 7 in the leaf axils and contain numerous tiny seeds.
