Propagation
Sow fresh seed in late winter and the plants take 2.5 to 3 months to produce flower.
When planting out space the plants 200 mm to 300 mm (1 ft) apart.
Botanic information
Leaf: The imparipinnate leaves have dark green narrow lanceolate leaflets with serrated margins and are aromatic. They are normally arranged oppositely but may also be alternate.
Flower: The radiate flowerheads are single, semi-doubleor doubleand appearat the end of the branches in pure yellow or bi-colours from summer to autumn.
Fruit: The small seeds are viable but seed heads are commonly removed during cultivation to prolong the flowering period.
