Propagation
Divide rhizomes in to lengths during growing period. Plant upwards in well drained moist soil, apply bottom heat.

Place spores on sterilised sphagnum or peat moss then cover with glass, keep moist for 4 to 6 weeks maintaining a temperature of 16º C (61º F), with indirect light.
Cleanliness is essential during the propagation process.

Offset can be separated from parent plants and potted up.

Botanic information
Leaf: The imparipinnate dull green fronds have leathery-fine textured segments that are up to 60mm (2?in)long. They are falcate and well spaced towards the apex and become overlapping towards the centre.

Flower: The fertile fronds have prominent sori with a reniform indusium that appears between the mid vein and the margin on the underside. They appear during midsummer.

Fruit: The sori are often found in 2 rows on the underside of each fertile pinnule. The spores are produced in the sporangium during the sporophyte stage of the fern life cycle in rows on the back of the fertile frond. The spores are very small (like fine dust) and are released from the sori when mature and dispersed by wind or water.
